Watch: Bud Light introduces drone basketball with new commercial

Watch Bud Light get innovative in its latest TV spot.

Sure, drones are kind of en vogue right now.

So credit Bud Light (Lime, specifically) for getting creative in its new 'Drone Ball' ad. The premise is pretty much what you think it is, although the drone functions as the basket rather than going mano-a-mano with another...er..remote controlled flying robot.

This could be the start of something new. Something innovative. It's not quite slamball, but hey, why not throw a trampoline or two in there. They've already got the pool on lock. Maybe program some drone defenders or something. Alas, the imagination runs wild.

In any case, we suggest they run it by Steph Curry for an opinion, pronto.
