Hawks hoping to avoid the dreaded 'Based God Curse' from Lil B

Rapper Lil B the Based God is becoming the most feared man in the NBA, thanks to the dreaded "Based God Curse" and the Atlanta Hawks are doing whatever it takes to stay in his good graces.

Rapper Lil B the Based God is becoming the most feared man in the NBA, thanks to the dreaded "Based God Curse," and the Atlanta Hawks are doing whatever it takes to stay in his good graces.

The curse began with a fight between Lil B and Kevin Durant that ended with B tweeting that he had cursed the Thunder star. After the curse, and the release of a diss song called "F--- KD", Durant suffered a series of injuries that ended his 2015 season early and left the Thunder out of the playoffs.

Earlier this week Houston's James Harden was warned by the rapper that he had stolen his "cooking dance" celebration from The Based God and was treading on dangerous ground.

After Harden faltered in the final seconds of Game 2 as the Rockets fell to the Warriors, the Atlanta Hawks decided the curse was no laughing matter and asked for the rapper's blessing on Twitter.

The Hawks in-house organist, Sir Foster, even offered to play some Lil B during Friday's game.

UPDATE: The Hawks pleas have been answered!

Lil B was quick to clarify that there was still time for Harden to be saved from the curse as well.
