Man City's Joe Hart did not enjoy nearly taking a baseball to the head

Manchester City visited the Toronto Blue Jays this week for batting practice and such, and goalkeeper Joe Hart received a scare when a teammate sent a screamer of a foul ball just over his head.

This is easy “stick to football” territory, although close examination of the video shows the ball wasn't that close to hitting Hart's head. Still, a sharply hit baseball is no joke. And perhaps when you have goalkeeper instincts like Hart's, it's natural to move quickly.

The club's YouTube channel documented all the action, from a tour of the Rogers Centre clubhouse—“This is where we kind of ‘dress up,’” Jose Bautista informatively told the Man City contingent—to some insight into the Blue Jays' gameday routines.

Batting practice inside one of the cages was the highlight, however. Hart took some tips from Bautista before stepping back to let Richard Wright bat. Apparently, he could've done well to stand a bit further back.

Here's the full video of Hart, Wright and James Milner's trip:

Man City will face Toronto FC for a road friendly on Thursday at BMO Field.
