Salvador Perez's video shows Royals dugout flooding with ‘Mucho rain’

Monday's Kansas City Royals game was postponed due to heavy rain. Catcher Salvador Perez showed the dugout flooding on video.

Monday's Royals game was postponed and one look at the video Salvador Perez posted of the Kansas City dugout makes it pretty clear why.

Kauffman Stadium was under several severe weather advisories, including a tornado warning, as torrential rain pounded the field. The storm forced everyone in the stadium to seek shelter in the ballpark's tunnels.

Meanwhile, Royals and Rays players waited to see if the game would be played. Perez stood by the entrance to the flooded dugout and reported that there was “mucho rain.”
