'Game of Thrones' author George R.R Martin visits Jets camp
Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin took a break from finishing his long-awaited novels to visit New York Jets camp Wednesday.
Martin is reportedly a "rabid" Jets fan, even if he isn't necessarily the biggest Geno Smith suppporer. Martin's appearance anywhere at this point is a big deal, as fans of the show and book alike search for answers after a shocking season finale. The author is also under pressure to finish the book series before the TV show moves ahead of it.
Martin, who is no stranger to misery, had many people buzzing with his Jets visit, and even spurred a few solid reactions from the Twitter machine [Some mild spoilers ahead]:

It's been a big day for Thrones and the NFL. Early Wednesday we found out how hard players try to avoid spoilers from teammates when they aren't fully caught up on the show.
One would imagine it's pretty hard to avoid hardcore Thrones talk around Martin, but an opportunist may try to find out what really happened at the end of season five.
