The Indians hosted the Royals on Tuesday night, and while most ballparks are selfish and only celebrate home runs hit by the home team, Cleveland decided to be more hospitable hosts and share the pyrotechnic love when Alex Rios hit a solo shot in the fifth inning.

While this is certainly an amusing mistake, it obviously pained the man operating the fireworks very much, and his sadness should temper your enjoyment of the blooper.

It is OK buddy, at the end of the day you just made it so there were more fireworks at the game, and who in the world doesn’t want more fireworks.
