Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live in November

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live.

Republican presidential candidate and former reality TV star Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7, NBC announced Tuesday.

This is incredible news. Trump, of course, is no stranger the NBC airwaves, where he hosted The Apprentice for many years. And political figures are often a fixture on SNL during election season, with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin and John McCain among those who have appeared on the show in the past.

Once Trump takes over the world, he’ll be appearing on every single television show simultaneously (kind of like he already is now), so we need to get accustomed to having even more Trump in our lives. It should also be quite the challenge for the SNL writers to parody a man who is already a parody of himself, so I’m sure we're all excited to see where this goes.

Fortunately, our country has improved greatly since the last time Trump hosted.

Oh, and the musical guest is Sia. Maybe Trump can channel Jim Carrey’s sketch from last season and do his best recreation of the music video for “Chandelier.”
