Retired quarterback Brett Favre is being inducted into the Packers “Ring of Honor” later this month and to commemorate the occasion Badger State Brewing has created a tribute beer called “4ward Pass.”

The brewery says the drink was crafted to reflect Favre’s “grit and tenacity.” It will be sold in limited quantities around Green Bay this month, but the brewery does not mention if there are plans to spend time in New York and Minnesota once the Wisconsin run is over.

Quarterback-inspired beers seem to be all the rage this week, as Friday also saw the announcement of a collaborative beer named “Oatmaha” from Denver and Indianapolis breweries in honor of Peyton Manning.

Only 44 cases of the Favre-inspired will be hitting stores, so be sure to intercept a few before they are all gone.
