Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey has earned himself a spot at Saturday’s Heisman Trophy presentation with his breakaway speed and elusive running this year, but that’s nothing new.

Video surfaced late on Tuesday of the sophomore playing in a pickup game on the turf at the Denver Broncos’ home field during a break in the action, back when he was small.

Not only was he running impressively, but he signed a football and threw it to the crowd!

Here’s to hoping this video is shown before the winner is announced on Saturday.
