Colts punter Pat McAfee loves to try to find a deeper meaning behind his random drug tests.
Back in 2013, McAfee leveled Texans kick returner Trindon Holliday with a big hit. The next day he was ordered submit a sample for a drug test. The NFL wanted to make sure he wasn’t on steroids, McAfee assumed.
Now McAfee thinks the league wants to check his pee because he made some marijuana jokes on Twitter.

As TIME explains, April 20 is a popular day for smoking weed. It’s also the day the NFL can begin administering drug tests. So it’s not exactly a coincidence that he got tested now.
And now that his test is out of the way, he’s free to partake of the devil’s lettuce, if he chooses.
