The Warriors are in a tough spot after the 73-win team fell behind 3–1 in the Western Conference Finals to the Thunder and Tuesday night’s 118–94 loss left Klay Thompson searching for a silver lining.

The guard thought he found a positive note to build on while glancing at the scoresheet during his postgame press conference, noting that the team had an impressive 40 assists, until he realized his eyes had failed him.

It is hard to watch that clip and not feel bad for Thompson, but perhaps the mistake will serve to spur on Golden State to get more assists in the next game, if only to cheer up their All-Star shooting guard.
