Bill Murray is calling the 2016 World Series for the Chicago Cubs.

Murray visited both broadcast booths during the Cubs’ game against the Braves in Atlanta on Sunday, and said this will finally be the year Chicago ends its long title drought.

“This is the year,” Murray said. “I think you know that. I think we all know that. The folks at home know that, the American people know that. This is the year.

“They’re really having a lot of fun, they’re just having so much fun. It started last year. They weren’t quite ready to win it all last year, but gosh they had fun, and they’re really having fun now. And they have an amazing amount of talent put together here.”

If you play that back, you can tell Murray was very serious about his comment, because he went to put on his bucket hat, then removed it as he got ready to answer the question thrown at him.

Murray also joined the Cubs’ broadcast, and praised the DVR. He also said some stuff about hamburgers.

He tried to put the hat on there, too, but it just working.

Long live Bill Murray. And DVRs.
