Usually, when a fan runs onto a field, or court, or pitch, or whatever, they do so during a break in the action.
Well, on Saturday, a fan in attendance for the Mariners’ game against the Cardinals decided he was run right between two Seattle outfielders who were trying to catch a fly ball.
As Cardinals infielder Matt Carpenter lifted a ball to left-center, a fan draped in an American flag ran right in from the warning track! It was a really bizarre visual for those watching at home.

The Mariners wound up allowing three runs in the inning. Thanks for nothing, man.
