Team USA surprised some young basketball players in New York City on Monday, stopping by several parks to shoot around and meet the country’s next generation of players.

These kids were thrilled to meet sharpshooter Klay Thompson, and NBA champion Kyrie Irving, but words truly can’t describe how hyped these three were to talk to Kevin Durant.

Durant swung by Rucker Park, a court he’s quite familiar with, and got up some shots. Look at the reaction of these kids.

Thompson, Jimmy Butler and DeMar Derozan were there, too.

If you don’t recall the connection between Durant and Rucker Park, the free agent forward dropped 66 points in a game in 2011 in his first visit.

OK, so Durant has fond memories of hooping in the city, he’s got fans there, and Carmelo Anthony has been hyping the Knicks’ prospects to him. Is Durant heading to the Knicks? No? Maybe?
