Last season, NCAA upstarts Monmouth garnered a lot of attention for early season wins over UCLA, Notre Dame, USC and Georgetown, but they earned even more eyes for the creative celebrations coming from the team’s “Bench Mob” of Daniel and Louis Pillari, Greg Noack and Tyler Robinson.

Before becoming the center of sideline tomfoolery, Monmouth county was known for its beaches along the Jersey Shore and a sand artist has combined the two attractions in an impressive new sculpture.

Monmouth’s dream season ended with a second round exit in the NIT, but now they have a sand sculpture that will remind everyone of their greatness, until a wind storm or high tide comes along.
