Rasheed Wallace is trying his hand at the “So Gone Challenge” and it looks like the longtime NBA player’s skills go beyond stout rebounding and defense.

The social media craze features people rhyming over the beat from Monica’s 2003 hit “So Gone” which is based around a sample from “You Are Number One” by The Whispers.

Not only does Wallace have some above average lyrics and flow, but he also manages to keep his ride smooth as he raps from behind the wheel.

The challenge got a big boost earlier this month when Chance the Rapper posted an entry in which he praised his girlfriend for her basketball skills, among other things.

Will the “So Gone Challenge” blow up in the athlete community like the “Running Man Challenge” before it? Only time will tell.
