UMass-Lowell soccer to host Harambe Night as tribute to gorilla
Harambe will be honored at a UMass-Lowell soccer game.
UMass-Lowell's soccer team is hosting Harambe Night to honor the life of the fallen gorilla that has posthumously been honored at sporting events nationwide.
The first 100 students in attendance will receive a stuffed gorilla “to commemorate the life of the legendary Harambe.”
Harambe was the gorilla that was shot and killed at the Cincinnati zoo after a child fell into its enclosure in May.
If you're in the Lowell area, the game begins at 7 p.m.
It's the least that the world can do for Harambe after it turned out that Harambe McHarambeface, a baby gorilla in China named in his honor, was a hoax.
