Terry Francona ordered $44 worth of ice cream at 3:30 a.m., powered through to finish it

Indians manager Terry Francona is no stranger to late-night shenanigans. After Game 3 of the ALCS, he had a tooth that he lost in his tobacco put back in at 1 a.m. The night before a game last year, he memorably told a story of how he ate 17 popsicles in one night.
Well, Tito had quite the experience on the eve of Game 5 of the World Series. He couldn’t fall asleep at 3:30 a.m., so he ordered $44 worth of ice cream to his room, he told reporters on Sunday. The brownie sundae, two orders of chocolate, and two orders of vanilla with chocolate sauce, to pivot off the chocolate just a hair.
And on top of it all, Diet Coke.
Francona somehow made it through, like a freaking boss.
At 3:30 am, Terry Francona ordered $44 worth of ice cream from room service. He said life was not fun from 5-7 am.

The hotel asked "How many people is this for?" It was all for him. Wanted to tap out with two scoops left, but powered through.
