It looks like we missed the voting, but we're happy to bring you the results of Fantasy Baseball Dugout's contest for Baseball's Hottest Wives. There are some of the usual suspects (Anna Benson), but a few surprises are there to be found.

His Reputation Precedes Him

We've always wondered -- in the dark recesses of our mind away from the loud opinions of most of the sports commentariat -- why Andy Reid is so revered. Sure, he's a decent coach, but he leaves a lot to be desired as GM, as Cold Hard Football Facts demonstrates in assessing the how each NFC East team filled their needs in the offseason. From the looks of the analysis, it figures to be another season of Brian Westbrook right, Westbrook left and Westbrook up the middle.

Crazy Like a Fox

By most accounts, the Red Sox gave up talent for chemistry in dealing away Manny Ramirez essentially for Jason Bay at baseball's trade deadline. But what if the BoSox actually came away with the better player? Ridiculous, you scream? Take a gander at this analysis by Alex Eisenberg at The Hardball Times and you may think differently.

Tim Lincecum Owners, You've Been Warned

While the playoff chase will keep many an elite hurler taking the bump as normal for the next two months, the looming end to the season may prompt an equal number of pitchers to be shutdown before the long season takes too much of a toll on those multimillion-dollar arms. Roto Authority.com has compiled a list of starters and their respective innings caps and assessed which pitchers might be very close to ending their seasons. Don't say you weren't warned.

Does The Preseason Matter?

The preseason kicks off en masse Thursday night, but with so few starters getting so little time, can a fantasy owner learn anything about the season ahead. That depends on where you're looking, writes Ultimate Fantasy Football Strategy. Simply put, forget the individual performances and focus on the team trends: does a team run more than it passes, for example. We know it's not much, but any drop of fantasy knowledge in the desert of the offseason is welcome.

Youth May (Or May Not) Be Served

It's summertime, so that means everything is possible in the NBA. For the fellas at RotoExperts, that means it's time to speculate about which rookies will shine brightest this fall. Many of the usual suspects make the list, but not Chicago's Derrick Rose. Why is the No. 2 overall pick in for tough times as a rookie. Click and find out.

Blue Light Specials

That sound many of you are hearing at your fantasy drafts is the whoosh of Steve Smith's and Brandon Marshall's sinking draft positions, the result of the two and three-game suspensions each receiver has been hit with in the past few days. Tom Herrera at the AOL Fanhouse, though, suggests you grab a net and catch these falling stars for the bargains they are becoming in many fantasy leagues.

A Name No Athlete Wants To Hear

James Andrews. The orthopedic surgeon has resurrected countless professional careers through delicate surgeries on knees, shoulders and elbows. That?s the good news. The bad news means an intial visit to him, such as the one Yankees phenom Joba Chamberlain has scheduled Wednesday, often is the first step in a prolonged cure for what ails an athlete. Sure, the solution could just be rest, but Andrews is no mere Tylenol, he's the heavy-duty prescription cure. Maybe we should all cool that praise we were lavishing on Hank Steinbrenner for demanding Chamberlain become a starter sooner than later.

Come One, Come All

At long last, SI.com has a fantasy football game, complete with all of the drafts, waiver wires, stats and analysis you need. Take the grand tour here and sign up a league. Heck, sign up two leagues if you want. We'll be waiting.
