The Minnesota Vikings snuck into the postseason as the 6-seed in the NFC, and went on to upset the heavily favored New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card Round.

The Vikings ran the ball 50.5% of the time in 2019. While that helped pave the way for running backs Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison, it led to down seasons for quarterback Kirk Cousins and his receivers.

Starting with Cook and the running game, SI Fantasy analyst Shawn Childs has Cook projected for over 1,800 combined yards with 14 touchdowns and 62 catches. Cook is currently going off the board as the fourth running back chosen (ADP 5).

Cousins went from being the 10th ranked QB in 2018, to being the 22nd QB off the board in 2020 according to ADP. He also didn’t have WR Adam Thielen due to injuries for much of the year, and Stefon Diggs was traded to Buffalo during the offseason. New rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson will be asked to take on a meaningful role on the outside replacing Diggs.
