The inside story of UpGlove golf gloves

UpGlove started by solving a simple problem with golf gloves: the cost to consumers. Here's how they offer high-quality gloves at such surprisingly low prices.

In this week's episode, host Paul Liberatore interviews Shawn McConnon, founder and CEO of UpGlove, a company that started by solving a simple problem with golf gloves. McConnon was sick of paying $20 for a decent golf glove. And if he didn't buy a glove before his round, he – like so many of us – would pay about $24 at the pro shop for a soft top-grade glove. He knew there had to be a more affordable and convenient way to buy golf gloves.

So, he designed a glove that would provide all the benefits of a traditional top-grade cabretta leather glove and also enhance the comfort and feel. The back of the UpGlove is made with a mesh-flex material that breathes and adds additional comfort. This keeps the glove from getting that "crusty" feeling. The palm of the glove is a true thin and soft top-grade cabretta leather that any golfer would appreciate.

He then developed a flexible subscription model that suits all types of golfers. So, whether you play a little or a lot, your needs can be met, and you'll never again shell out $24 for a golf glove. UpGloves cost less than $10.
