Let's Get Loud: The Phoenix Open is Here
The loudest week in golf is upon us and it features the strongest field of the season. Many of the game's heavyweights are in Phoenix for the WM Phoenix Open, including Arizona State alum and world No. 1 Jon Rahm, who enters this week, as he has many others, the betting favorite.
Meanwhile, we're still two months out from the first major of the season but there have already been enough headlines to make your head spin. Phil Mickelson struck a nerve when he called out the PGA Tour for its "obnoxious greed." Then Harold Varner III won the hotly debated Saudi International in incredible fashion, all while Jordan Spieth had everyone on the edges of their seats as he played a shot from the edge of a ravine.
It would all add up to a runner-up finish for Spieth, behind Tom Hoge who last we checked, Tiger Woods had not even a remote clue who he was.
So put down the quiet paddles because the People's Open is upon us!
