Reynolds boys lacrosse downs Weddington to advance to fourth round of NCHSAA 4-A state tournament
WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA--The Reynolds boys lacrosse team topped Weddington 11-7 on Tuesday night in the third round of the NCHSAA 4-A state tournament.
The No. 3 seed Demons got three goals apiece from Andrew Adams and Duncan Brown in the win.
Lane Albright and Drew Grau scored two goals each and David Powell added one for Reynolds, which also got a strong performance in goal from Nick Hampton.
Reynolds (18-3) will take on No. 2 Charlotte Catholic (20-2) in the quarterfinals on May 12 in Charlotte.
Catholic downed No. 7 Hough 18-11 in the third round.
