Winter sports are starting to wind down, and several athletes statewide continue to make an impression in those sports. 

Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 19-25. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to nominate an athlete, email athleteoftheweek@scorebooklive.com or tag us on Twitter. 

Janiyah Williams, Edmond Memorial girls basketball

The Lady Bulldogs' junior standout had a team-high 18 points as Edmond Memorial bested Jenks, 56-41, to win their Class 6A regional tournament. Following that win, Williams officially announced her commitment to play at the University of Oregon.

Beau Billingsley, Norman boys basketball

Billingsley, a sophomore, had 20 points and dished out five assists as the Tigers defeated Westmoore, 57-42, in their Class 6A regional championship game. Norman has now won 15 consecutive ballgames.

Jayelle Austin, Owasso girls basketball

Austin had 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Lady Rams won their 6A regional championship with a 61-41 win against Bixby.

Aiden Anderson, Collinsville boys basketball

Anderson had a team-high 13 points and made three 3-point baskets as the Cardinals defeated Tulsa Memorial, 46-40, to win their 5A regional title. The win also snapped Memorial's 11-year streak of winning regional titles, as well as the Chargers' 23-game regional tournament win streak.

Xon Williams, Oklahoma City Millwood boys basketball

Williams scored 18 points and came up with five steals as the Falcons rolled past Casady, 92-63, to claim their 3A regional tournament title.

Dallas Lowe, Cascia Hall boys basketball

Lowe had 15 points in his team's regional tournament opener against Salina; then added 14 points with six rebounds as the Commandos bested Kansas, 58-39, to win their 3A regional.

McKenzie Mathurin, Broken Arrow girls basketball

Mathurin had 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double as the streaking Lady Tigers bested Sand Springs, 47-44, to take a 6A regional championship.

Saniyah Morrison, Tulsa Rogers girls basketball

Morrison had 18 points, seven rebounds and three steals to lead the Lady Ropers past Tulsa Booker T. Washington, 43-38, for the 5A regional championship.

Jermiah Johnson, Tulsa Edison boys basketball

Johnson had a combined 27 points in the Eagles' two wins en route to taking a 5A regional title. Edison also has currently won 11 straight ballgames.

Phoenix Woodson, Crossings Christian boys basketball

Woodson had an impressive game down low for the Knights in their 5A regional championship win against defending 5A champion Del City, 54-44. He scored 17 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and blocked six shots.

De'Yanna Douglas, Midwest City girls basketball

Douglas turned in a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds in the Lady Bombers' 70-34 win against Noble to claim the 5A district title.

Jakary Brown, Midwest City Carl Albert girls basketball

Brown's buzzer-beating shot in the lane lifted the Lady Titans to the 5A regional title with a 39-37 win against Del City.

Boden Williams, Owasso boys basketball

Williams scored 19 points, including making a half-court buzzer-beater to end the first half, pacing the Rams to the 6A regional championship with a 75-53 win against Jenks.

Kayten Donley, Bethany girls basketball

Donley poured in 31 points, including reaching the 1,000-point barrier for her career, as the Lady Bronchos won the 4A regional title with a 78-45 win against Purcell.

Jayla Constant, Putnam City West girls basketball

Constant scored 17 points and converted three 3's as the Lady Patriots downed Westmoore, 70-39, to claim the 6A regional championship.

Nevaeh Sanchez, Putnam City North girls basketball

Sanchez scored in double figures in her team's 6A regional title run, scoring 19 points against Lawton and 10 against Norman North.

Preslee Hartsock, Community Christian School girls basketball

Hartsock scored 20 points in her team's 42-34 win against Lindsay in their 3A regional opener. CCS went on to defeat Kingston, 39-26, to secure the program's first-ever regional championship.

Karly Harviston/Katelyn Harviston, Dover girls basketball

The sisters combined for 25 points as Dover defeated Pittsburg, 35-27, in a Class B area final, sending the Lady Longhorns to the state tournament for the first time since 2007. Karly scored 13 points while Katelyn added 12, going 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

Haven Freeman, Roland girls basketball

Freeman had a team-high 17 points and came up with two steals as the Lady Rangers captured a 3A regional championship with a 56-47 win against Spiro.

Aidan Clark, Inola boys basketball

Clark had 17 points along with four rebounds as the Longhorns won their 4A regional with a 49-37 win against Madill.

Olivia Stokes, Locust Grove girls basketball

Stokes had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds as Locust Grove upended Inola, 63-56, to win their 4A regional.

Garrett Scott, Pocola boys basketball/Allyssa Parker, Pocola girls basketball

The top scorers for their respective teams had another impressive outing as Pocola swept Warner in the 2A regional title games. Scott scored 22 in the Indians' 80-35 win, while Parker scored 34 in the Lady Indians' 51-39 victory.

Layton Schneider, Edmond North boys wrestling

Schneider won his second straight Class 6A state title in the 144-pound weight class at this past weekend's state tournament in Oklahoma City. He was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler in 6A as the Huskies capped a dominant season with a record-setting performance to take the team championship.

Beric Jordan, Noble boys wrestling

Jordan capped his senior season with a perfect 39-0 record after winning the Class 5A 120-pound weight class this past weekend. Jordan - who previously won two state titles while attending school in Ohio - will go on to wrestle at the University of Oklahoma.

Ethan Teague, Tuttle boys wrestling

Teague finished 37-0 on his season with a win in the Class 4A 175-pound finals. An Oklahoma State commit, Teague helped the Tigers claim the team title for the 16th consecutive season and their 21st in program history.

Gage Walker, Bixby boys wrestling

Walker, who is headed to Missouri, won the 6A 126-pound class with a 9-1 major decision to become a four-time state champion for his career.

Canon Acklin, Collinsville boys wrestling

Acklin also became a four-time state champion, getting a 1-0 decision in the finals of the 5A 126-pound class. He is headed to wrestle at Iowa State.

Brady Benham, Sperry boys wrestling

Benham also became a four-time state champion after he claimed victory in the 3A 165-pound class. There are now 48 four-time state champions in the history of Oklahoma high school boys wrestling.

Jadyn Roller, Bixby girls wrestling/Jace Roller, Bixby boys wrestling

It was a family affair at the state tournament this weekend. Jadyn Roller rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the final 10 seconds to get a 4-3 victory in the finals of the 6A 110-pound class, also helping the Lady Spartans claim the 6A team championship. Her brother Jace won the title in the boys 6A 138-pound class. 

Bella Williams, Edmond North girls wrestling

Williams finished her season with an impressive 34-0 record by winning her third state championship, claiming the Class 6A 140-pound title. She was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler in 6A.

Chloe Vawter, Little Axe girls wrestling

Vawter pinned all three of her opponents to win the 5A 235-pound title. She also helped Little Axe win the team title for the first time in program history.

Kaylee Davis, El Reno girls wrestling

Davis became a three-time state champion with her victory in the 6A 145-pound weight class.

Shelby Kemp, Moore girls wrestling

Kemp was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler in 6A after her win in the 6A 135-pound class, as she earned back-to-back state titles.
