The Angels and Dodgers may have a rivalry, but that doesn't mean that game can't recognize game.

As for the series, it was a tough one for the Angels as they were swept in the two-game set, losing each contest 2-0 and it was a struggle for Trout individually as well.
The future Hall of Famer was held hitless in the brief series, going 0-for-7 with one walk.
Betts, for his part, had a down series as well but performed slightly better at the plate, going 1-for-8 against the Halos.
For the Angels, it was a brief setback in their attempt to solidify their current playoff positioning.
They went into the series sitting as the third American League Wild Card team and now stand at a half game behind the Houston Astros, who took their place as the final wild card team.
Shohei Ohtani shared his disappointment following the midweek sweep, saying postgame that he and the heart of the Angels lineup need to come through in key situations if they hope to return to their winning ways.
Looking ahead for the Halos, they have a golden opportunity to get back on track coming up with a three-game series against the last place Colorado Rockies and a four-game set against a struggling Chicago White Sox team to follow.
That stretch will begin on Friday, and by the end of that soft portion of the schedule, the Angels could be back to their winning ways.
But when it comes to the Freeway Series, even though it ended in the Angels getting swept, Halos fans still got to witness two future Hall of Famers battle each other and then end their duel with a sign of significant respect.
