Houston Astros Star Gets Start For Team USA in WBC Quarterfinals Against Venezuela

The Houston Astros will have Kyle Tucker representing them in Team USA's lineup on Saturday night as they take on Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic Quarterfinals.

The Houston Astros will have one of their stars in the starting lineup for Team USA's matchup with Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic Quarterfinals. The game is slated to begin at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday in what is one of the most anticipated contests of the tournament.

Kyle Tucker gets the nod to represent the Stars and Stripes in left field as the USA has put forth their best lineup to face Venezuela and its ace Martín Pérez. It's a stout Venezuelan lineup that features Astros second baseman Jose Altuve.

It'll be a tough test for Tucker and the USA on Saturday.

If the Americans can create a lead and hold it into the ninth, it is very possible that the Astros will see their closer Ryan Pressly on the mound as well. Of course, it will all be situation-dependent, but there could be two Astros who make a splash on Saturday.
