Watch: Álvarez, Tucker Launch Homers for Houston Astros Lead Over Braves

Houston Astros sluggers Yordan Álvarez and Kyle Tucker launched back-to-back home runs to take the lead over the Atlanta Braves in the sixth inning.

Houston Astros sluggers Yordan Álvarez and Kyle Tucker seemingly can't be stopped right now. After helping his team to victory on Friday evening, Álvarez just launched another home run on Saturday against the Atlanta Braves to take a 2-1 lead.

With Alex Bregman on base, Álvarez launched a Kyle Wright curveball into the right field stands. The home run travelled 414 feet and came off the bat at a scorching 110.7-mph and at an angle of 29 degrees. A mammoth shot.

Kyle Tucker then came up to the plate two two batters later after first baseman Jose Abreu got on base.

Tucker then deposited Wright's curveball into the center field stands. The ball travelled 410 feet and had an exit velocity of 104.3-mph. That brought the Astros lead to 4-1.

Houston battled back after what was a classic pitcher's duel through the first five innings. It's an encouraging sign to see the fight in this team as they battle to get above a .500 record.
