Houston Astros Announcer Pokes Fun At Bass Following Popcorn Disaster

Former Houston Astros pitcher Anthony Bass is catching a lot of heat for his recent social media post. Now, even the announcers are getting in on the action.

Former Houston Astros pitcher Anthony Bass made waves on social media this week when he posted a photo from an airplane stating that United Airlines made his pregnant wife "get on her hands and knees" to pick up a popcorn mess their own children created. 

Let's just say, it was met with "mixed" reactions from social media. And by "mixed" we mean mostly negative. Especially considering his wife told a different tale on her own social media platforms.

Now Bass is facing his old team as he is a member of the Toronto Blue Jays and picked up some heat from Astros announcer Geoff Blum when Bass took the mound. 

"Your new pitcher is ex-Astro Anthony Bass on to try and clean it up," Blum exclaimed on Monday night. 

A nice subtle dig at Bass for not cleaning up his own children's mess while insisting the flight attendants do it for him. 

The level of entitlement is astonishing.
