Oakland Ballers Unveil Jerseys

Three new jersey options to show your support for the baseball team that will never leave Oakland

While the Oakland A's have yet to get a City Connect jersey, the Ballers just dropped three different jerseys that definitely embrace Oakland.

On Friday morning we discovered what the Oakland Ballers had up their sleeve. Or should we say, on their sleeve. The B's debuted the jerseys for their inaugural 2024 campaign, and also announced sponsorship deals with both BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and AAA.

BART connects the Bay Area and is a huge help to those that have to commute from the all around into San Francisco, but it also goes to a number of other cities in the area as well. Lots of A's fans have taken BART to the Coliseum, and now they'll be able to do the same when visiting Raimondi Park. AAA offers roadside assistance as well as home, auto, and life insurance and has been in Northern California for over 100 years.

While the sponsorships are cool, the jerseys that were dropped are even better.

The official colors being used here are Town Gold, State Green, and Vintage White. It should also be noted that the number on display is a subtle nod to A's and Oakland legend Rickey Henderson, which just shows some of the attention to detail that the co-founders have when putting this entire franchise (not to mention the Yolo High Wheelers) together.

Co-founder of the team, Bryan Carmel, said of the jerseys, "We’re proud to rep Oakland and that’s why the back of our home and away jerseys clearly say “Oakland.” The Ballers are always carrying Oakland on our back."

David Martindale, BART's Director of Marketing and Research, said of the sponsorship, "BART has a long history of carrying fans to their favorite Bay Area sporting events and we’re looking forward to welcoming the Ballers to Oakland. We at BART are proud to provide safe, clean and reliable train service to the Bay Area and can’t wait to see the Ballers take the field with the BART logo on their sleeves. I’m sure these jerseys will be the hottest selling merch of the summer and I’m looking forward to buying my own as soon as I can."

The jerseys are all available for pre-order over at Oaklandish, where you can see what they'll look like on the field.

The jerseys were designed by Dustin Canalin, who also designed the Golden State Warriors "The Town" jerseys. The jerseys are not expected to ship before late May, though they are expected to be ready for those that pre-order before the Ballers' home opener on June 4.
