To say there are four larger names in baseball than Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. is...something.
Alanna Rizzo of MLB Network's 'High Heat' ranked the "Top 5 faces in baseball. She started her list off with Acuña Jr. at five. When she was talking up Acuña and explaining why he was five, she even added that he created his own statistical category in 2023.
Her top five list was:
5. Ronald Acuña Jr, Atlanta
4. Bryce Harper, Philadelphia
3. Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels
2. Aaron Judge, New York Yankees
1. Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers
Now, Ohtani should be at the top of the list. But when looking at the top faces in baseball, X user @Trenciarte makes a great case for Acuña being higher than 5th on the list.
Acuña was the top vote-getter in All-Star voting a year ago and was the most popular in jersey sales for most of the season.
