Braves Briefing: The Championship Series round is heating up

We are finally getting some drama in the MLB postseason.

After six series ending in sweeps this postseason and two 3-1 decisions, the ALCS and NLCS are finally showing some competition between the four teams battling to make the World Series.

Arizona defeated Philadelphia 2-1 on Thursday night to bring the series to a 2-1 Phillies lead. Houston blasted Texas 10-3 to even the series 2-2 in the ALCS Thursday night.

Free Agency Look

As we go into our first offseason as a staff here at Braves Today, we thought it would be important to have our own Free Agent Rankings.

Let's look at RHP Aaron Nola of the Philadelphia Phillies. He's the fourth-ranked player in our Free Agency Rankings.

Aaron Nola's been an ironman at the top of the Phillies rotation, going on the IL only once since 2018. His ERA hasn't been consistent, but Philly's defense also hasn't been that great and so putting him in front of a top-tier defensive lineup could unlock a new level of dominance for the 30 year-old.
