Watch: Stroman Pitches Incredible Opening Day Gem for Chicago Cubs

Marcus Stroman had a strong outing for the Chicago Cubs on Opening Day as he placed his team in position to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Chicago Cubs have started out their Opening Day against the Milwaukee Brewers with a bang! No player has been more impressive than starter Marcus Stroman.

The ace pitched 6.0 scoreless innings of baseball while striking out eight and walking three. It was a masterful performance from the pitcher who is supposed to lead this rotation.

While the Cubs are just entering their contention window, Stroman was brought in last season as one of the first building blocks for the organization. It's for that reason he was called upon today to open the 2023 MLB season.

He did not disappoint.

Stroman exited the game with a four run lead over the Brewers as they try and take down their National League Central divisional rival.
