Surprise D-Backs NL Championship Ring Ceremony Announced

Find out when the D-backs pregame ceremony is going to take place that will allow fans and players their first look at the Championship rings.

As you likely know, the Arizona Diamondbacks made it to the World Series last season. Thanks to that, they were crowned the National League Champions after they beat the Philadelphia Phillies in seven games in the National League Championship Series. It was a thrilling seven-game series that saw them come back from down 2-0 and 3-2. It was just the second time in franchise history that they won the National League, with the first being in 2001. With the NL Championship in hand, the players, coaches and staff are awarded rings, similar to the World Series rings that are widely known.

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced that a special pregame ceremony will take place before the game on March 29th, 2024 against the Rockies. The ceremony will be to give the rings to all of the Diamondbacks players and coaches. The surprise will be the ring design, as no players, coaches or fans will get a chance to see what it looks like before this ceremony. Per the D-backs, it will make the reveal a "special shared moment between D-backs players and fans."

It will be sure to create a lasting bond between the fans of the Diamondbacks that are at the game and the players as it will create a unifying moment to celebrate just how terrific the 2023 season was for Arizona.

This ceremony will just be part of the Opening Weekend festivities that fans can enjoy. Additionally, on Friday's game, the D-backs are giving out 20,000 NL Champions Tees and there will be postgame fireworks. On Opening Day, 40,000 NL Champion Rally Towels will be given out. On Saturday, March 30th, 20,000 Corbin Carroll Rookie of the Year Bobbleheads will be given out.

If you want your own NL Championship Ring, the Diamondbacks are giving out replicas to the first 20,000 people ahead of the August 10th game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The ring is designed and made by Jostens. Hope to see you all there at the NL Championship Ring Ceremony.
