D-backs Hold 13th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic

Supporting veterans groups is the focus of the event

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation hosted their 13th annual D-backs Celebrity Golf Classic yesterday at Talking Stick Golf Club. Since 2011 the event has raised over $2.6 million dollars for various non profit organizations dedicated to impacting the lives of veterans.  

D-backs President and CEO  Derrick Hall spoke about the work being done by the Diamondbacks Foundation and presented donation checks, while numerous current and alumni players and coaching staff joined the event.

Spokesmen for Vet Tix were on hand to discuss the support and guidance they received from the D-backs in furthering their mission, and Zac Gallen was among the players on hand to support the effort. You can check out the interview with Gallen and others at this link as well
