Fernando Tatis Jr. has not even been back with the San Diego Padres for a week yet and fashion statements are already being made on his end. This is nothing new for El Niño, it's been well-documented that he loves the spotlight and doesn't stick to the normal formula when it comes to how he presents himself.

We've seen it before with his infamous pink arm sleeve and numerous celebrations after big plays. However, Tatis is coming in strong in 2023 with his shoe game on the field. He is no longer signed to Adidas after they ended a two-year partnership due to the young superstar's controversial suspension over PED usage. He used to rock his own signature shoe with coined the Ultra Boost DNA.

But this may have been a blessing in disguise for El Niño as it appears he's been able to explore so many new options when it comes to the cleats he's already worn and planning to wear this season.

He has now partnered with Stadium Custom Kicks and has created a cleat that resembles one of the most iconic basketball and streetwear kicks ever: The Air Jordan 1. They've been re-made in the past by Nike themselves for the sport of baseball but Tatis is incorporating color ways that have become classics over the years.

Just take a look at these... absolutely beautiful footwear.

It's also been reported that he'll wear up to 30 different pairs of this cleat.

It's still very early into his return to the San Diego Padres but hopefully his numbers pick up as he continues rocking these cleats. The new outfielder is just three for 19 in plate appearances during his first four matches with the Friars.
