Another Questionable Padres Statue Appears in Mexico City

In this story:
First things first, we have to give a major shoutout to Mexico City for hosting our own San Diego Padres this weekend. It is quite the honor to see our Gaslamp Guys have the opportunity to travel and play in front of such amazing fans for the first time in this league's history.
But with that being said, we have to have a serious talk about these statues of the Friars that were built ahead of these games. Twitter has already been going crazy for the past day after Juan Soto's was revealed and let's just say... they are missing a couple prominent features in his.

Luckily, his name is at the bottom so fans are able to tell exactly who it is. Nobody is too sure what happened here but the best guess that I have seen is that maybe they were going for a bobblehead approach?
However, it does not stop there. Maybe the sculptors just had to rush when it came to getting the statues done for the outfielders because pictures of Trent Grisham's own model have surfaced as well and it is not any better.

All jokes aside, it was very nice of the organization in charge of this to even make these in honor of our players.
Fans probably have gotten a bit used to seeing the best of the best but considering that Mexico City didn't have the longest notice before this series, they still got the job done.
Nonetheless, Twitter users still had a lot to say about Grisham's statue as well.
Do they come alive at night to feed? I feel like they do and the locals are staying silent

Lucky for us, San Diego should be focused on snagging two wins from the Giants rather than how their statues portray them.
