Fernando Tatis Jr. has been one of the biggest talking points around the MLB since his return to the San Diego Padres. Opposing fanbases have been doing their best to get to his head as he slowly returns to superstar form. However, he has done his best to 'kill them with kindness' and it's clear they are not fazing him.

Nando has 11 hits in 41 at-bats in his first nine games with the Friars. He's already made some big plays in his new outfield position along with some clutch RBI's and two home runs.

Even though he returned on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks, then got heckled at Wrigley Field, and is just coming off of a historic weekend at Mexico City, the 24-year-old superstar has yet to suit up in front of San Diego natives at Petco Park.

That is all set to change today at 6:40 pm PT against the Cincinnati Reds as they kick off a three-game home series.

Padres and should be super excited as they last had the pleasure of watching El Niño play in front of them all the way back in 2021. It has been a long time coming and despite all of their roster additions since then, he holds a special place in their heart.

However, it's looking like the fanbase isn't exactly rushing to tear down the gates this week like they were for the season opener earlier this year. Pictures of available tickets for the Padres' first game against the Reds have surfaced and a lot of seats are still available, specifically those in the upper deck.

Tatis himself said he expects the stadium to be roaring. It's important to note that it is a Monday game and those historically have less guests but hopefully the seats fill up as the day goes on in honor of this young star's debut.
