Nathaniel Lowe Grateful For Thankful Texas Rangers Fans Sharing World Series Love

Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, like his teammates, appreciate the wave of love from long-suffering fans since winning their first World Series championship.

ARLINGTON — The love is real and it remains strong.

Texas Rangers fans are still aglow more than three months since their team won its first World Sereis title and they don't hesitate to let the players, coaches and front office know when they see them.

Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe was still basking in the love during the club's recent Fan Fest at Globe Life Field in which thousands of fans lined up for autographs, pictures and more with their championship heroes.

"The reception has been amazing," Lowe said. "People have been so generous and just so happy."

Lowe, who won his first Gold Glove in 2023, has spent most of the past three months back home in Florida but when he's been in town, he can hardly pay for a meal, he said. He's made appearances at Dallas Stars' games at American AIrlines Center and Dallas Cowboys' games at AT&T Stadium. Each time, fans just want to thank him.

"I was I was just amazed with how generous people were. They were just chomping at the bit to try and do their part and say thank you and it's been a really gratifying experience," he said. "People are just so happy."

More than one fan has told Lowe how long they've followed the club, wishing for decades for a title.

He was getting his haircut a few weeks after the World Series when the owner of the barbershop showed him a picture of himself watching a Rangers games at Arlington County Stadium. Moments later, a fireman entered the barbershop and instantly thanked Lowe for the championship.

"To know that people are that deeply rooted and care that much and are that excited about this title, it just adds to how thankful I am for this chance to bring home the title," he said.

Lowe, who chugged a beer and ripped off hi T-shirt during the Rangers' Nov. 3 parade around Globe Life Field, said it's an experience he'll always cherish.

"I mean, yeah, because why wouldn't take your shirt off," he joked. "It's the same thing as far as working out in the offseason, and getting yourself ready for spring training. If you're not enjoying it to the most or putting the most effort in then you're selling yourself short. So who knows if we're gonna have another parade at any point, but if that's the only one that I get to be a part of, I get some great memories from it."
