Today in White Sox History: November 13

An exhaustive world tour begins for the South Siders.

1913 — The White Sox and New York Giants began their round-the-world tour promotional tour. The two teams would eventually sail home from England on the Lusitania after playing more than 40 contests.

Jim Margalus at South Side Sox wrote an exhaustive series on the tour in 2014.
