Warriors’ Draymond Green apologizes for halftime tirade vs. Thunder
Warriors forward Draymond Green apologized Monday for his halftime tirade against the Thunder on Saturday.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has apologized for his halftime tirade against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, he told reporters Monday.
“I made a mistake,” Green said. “I admitted my mistakes to my teammates and my coaching staff.”
ABC’s Lisa Salters called Green’s rant a “profanity-laced tirade” during which he was “yelling and screaming” about his struggles in the first half.
“I am not a robot,” Green said, according to Salters. “I know I can play, you have me messed up right now. If you don’t want me to shoot, I won’t shoot the rest of the game.”
