Game preview
The Bucks have won their last 14 games, and a win against the Nets will allow them to tighten their grip on the number spot in the Eastern Conference standings. The 43-17 Bucks took the top spot in the East after the Boston Celtics lost to the New York Knicks on Monday night, 109-94. The loss pulled the Celtics down to 44-18.
Milwaukee’s current winning streak is its longest since they racked up 18 straight victories in the 2019 season. The team’s longest winning streak in franchise history stands at 20, which came during the 1971 championship season, and now that is even in play. The Bucks have not lost since they bowed to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 102-114, on January 21st.

Milwaukee and Brooklyn split the first two games of their four-game regular-season series, with the Bucks drawing first blood on October 26th, 110-99, before the Nets returned the favor in their second meeting on December 23rd, 118-100.
The two team’s third meeting will be entirely different as the Nets no longer have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, who are now with the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns, respectively.
The Nets, losers of two straight games, are currently in the sixth spot in the East with a 34-26 record.
Injury report
Giannis Antetokounmpo (quad) is day-to-day for the Bucks, while Wesley Matthews (calf) is out.

Probable:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right quad contusion)
OUT:
Wesley Matthews (right calf strain)
Ben Simmons (knee) is out for the Nets.

Matthew finished his bachelor's degree in Economics (Management) at the University of Split and got his master's degree in the same field at the University of Zadar. Whether it is playing the game as an undersized 6'3'' power forward or simply watching it, Matthew can't get enough of it. After all, he has been an avid NBA fan since the 2000s. But don't get him wrong, as Matthew still loves the old-school NBA and is a true student of the game. From on-court moments to off-court stuff, whether it's about the stars of modern-day basketball or legends of the game, Matthew covers every category of the NBA world and basketball in general, as long as it makes for an engaging and exciting story.
