GAMEDAY PREVIEW AND INJURY REPORT: Milwaukee Bucks look to extend winning streak vs. Dallas Mavericks

After an easy outing in Charlotte–they pulled off a 130-99 lopsided win that hiked their record to 8-4–the Milwaukee Bucks will face a tough test against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night at the Fiserv Form.

Playing their second game in two nights, the Bucks are expected to have their hands full against the Mavericks as they bid to extend their three-game winning streak.

Dame, Malik on a tear

Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley have been on target of late. The duo combined for 12 triples when the Bucks trounced the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, 128-112. Lillard scored 37 points in the win, while Beasley had 30.

Continuing their hot-shooting, the duo connived for 11 threes in leading Milwaukee’s 31-point blowout against the Hornets, with Lillard dropping 27 points and Beasley adding 20.

Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from a one-game absence and finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in the win against the Hornets.

Milwaukee’s much-maligned defense will be put to the test against a Dallas team that features the high-scoring duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The Mavericks hold a 9-3 record. They have been solid on the road this season, winning five of their seven away games so far.

Doncic is having a stellar season, leading the Mavericks in scoring (30.7 points per game) and in rebounding (7.8 rebounds per game).

Luka also leads Dallas in assists with 8.1 a game. Irving is averaging 22.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.7 assists.

Injury report

Jae Crowder (adductor and abdominal tear) and Chris Livingston (ankle) are out for the Bucks. MarJon Beauchamp is listed as day-to-day due to an ankle injury.

Dallas will be at full strength as it has no player on the injured list.
