REPORT: Cavaliers Sign Marcus Morris Sr. To 10-Day Contract

According to The Athletic Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania, the veteran forward has agreed to a 10-day contract with Cleveland.

On Saturday, the Cleveland Cavaliers had an addition to their rotation when Tristan Thompson returned from his 25-game suspension in Cleveland’s game against the Houston Rockets.

Now, the Wine and Gold reportedly have another roster addition on its way.

According to The Athletic Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania, veteran forward Marcus Morris Sr. has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Cavaliers.

The 34-year-old most recently appeared in 37 games (seven starts) with the Philadelphia 76ers this season, averaging 6.7 points, and 2.9 rebounds per game. He was traded to the San Antonio Spurs last month, and was waived three weeks later after not appearing in a game with the team.

Since Morris was waived by San Antonio before March 1, he would be eligible to play for Cleveland if the team makes the playoffs.
