Cavs make it official: LeBron has signed

LeBron James already announced he has re-signed with the Cavaliers, and the Cavaliers made it official Friday.
"We are very fortunate to have a championship group together,” Cavs general manager David Griffin said in a prepared statement.
"One that has grown organically to trust, and sacrifice for one another -- on and off the floor. At the core of that group is LeBron. His leadership, passion and tireless commitment are the hallmarks of our success and have inspired our entire franchise."
While the Cavs don't comment on contracts, James' deal is believed to be for three years and $100 million, making him the NBA's highest-paid player. The contract reportedly has a player option after the second year.
"His connection and dedication to his community and this fan base are absolute," Griffin said of James. "We share his determination to win at the highest level and can't wait to get back to work, together to defend our title."
James has appeared in six straight finals, including two straight (and three overall) with the world champion Cavs.
“We all know last year was magical, inspiring, all the words you can come up with,” James said in a video from Uninterupted. “I just can’t wait to get the group back together."
