On Thursday, the Boston Celtics picked up a 129-112 victory against the Chicago Bulls. Derrick White registered 28 points, five assists, and three rebounds.

As captured by NBC Sports Boston, White commented on the Celtics’ first game since the NBA’s All-Star break.

“The time off was nice. Lay around, spend time with the family, and be ready to go. I was definitely a little tired out there, but it’s good to get back and ramp it back up.”

Though Boston is on a seven-game winning streak, White believes they need to continue building onto their momentum.

“We still got a lot of work to do. It just doesn’t happen like that. It’s a good win here in the first one. We just got to build off of it.”

Boston's next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24, against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden; tip-off is at 8:30 p.m. EST.
