The Boston Celtics came out of the All-Star break still scorching as they dominated the Chicago Bulls, 129-112 in Chicago, to get to seven straight wins.

Derrick White was masterful, leading the way with 28 points, five assists, three rebounds, and three emphatic blocks, shooting 9-14 from the field and 5-10 from three.

Boston was down three to begin the second half, but the C's continued to show their superior defensive capabilities, allowing the Bulls to score just 21 points in the third quarter. The Celtics also made 23 triples, while shooting 48.9 percent from distance, with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown doing their thing, combining for 46 points.

Luke Kornet even stole the show down the stretch with 10 points of his own, going 5-6 from the field as a plus-10. He defined Boston's joyous vibes right now, displaying his fun and elite celebrations following some thunderous slams around the rim.

White, following his night of guiding the ship, talked about the Celtics' balance of attack and how you never know how they can strike.

"That's the fun thing about this team is, I mean, most nights, JT, JB, and KP, they allow myself and everybody else the freedom of if we got it going to do what we need to do too," stated White. "Having guys like that at the top and just allowing us to be aggressive and a fun team to play with."

White had 12 points in the opening period, prior to his 10 in the fourth. Brown had a big second quarter with 14, as White alluded to, and Tatum scored 15 in the third.

"Someone got it going; we're going to keep going to them," the guard said. "I think JB had it going in the second quarter there; we just kept going back to him, and that's just the fun thing is each quarter might be somebody different, and we're just all ready to go and having a lot of fun with it."

The Celtics will look to make it eight consecutive wins on Saturday night, 8:30 p.m. ABC Primetime, when they face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
