Jaylen Brown Says Chemistry with Kristaps Porzingis 'Ranks at the Very Top'

In this story:
While Kristaps Porzingis didn't earn an All-Star Game invitation, he's playing at that level. The seven-foot-three center is having a considerable impact at both ends while making life easier for his teammates.
It was quickly apparent that the seven-foot-three center and Jaylen Brown had impressive chemistry that helped the latter grow as a facilitator.

The duo's bond has led to their head coach, Joe Mazzulla, nicknaming them Cookies and Cream.
"He's important for our group," Brown told Inside The Celtics earlier this season. "So, I'm always telling him I'm looking for him early, getting him going (and) getting him feeling well; getting (him) adjusted to not just Boston but our team and our organization, our culture.
"He's a huge part of what we want in terms of our long-term success. I tell KP all the time, 'I'm going to you early; I'm looking for you early.' Get him feeling well because we need him on defense, too, as well as offense. He's important to everything that we got going over here. So, I'm going to make sure to get him going and get him feeling well."
And while discussing his chemistry with Porzingis in a recent appearance on the View From The Rafters podcast, the three-time All-Star conveyed, "I've had good connections. Me and (Marcus) Smart had a good connection; last year, we used to get all those back-cuts. I've had good connections, but this is definitely one of the best for sure.
"Over the course of your life, you play a lot of games and teams. But KP definitely ranks at the very top, just the chemistry in year one. We haven't been playing together for a full year yet, and you already see the highlights and points we've been able to generate. So, imagine playing for a longer period of time; it could even be better."
