Jayson Tatum Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

The NBA announced on Monday that Boston Celtics star wing Jayson Tatum has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

Over the past week, Tatum averaged 31.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game while shooting 54.2 percent from behind the 3-point arc.
He also led the Celtics to a 3-0 record with wins over the Washington Wizards, Indiana Pacers, and Brooklyn Nets. Notably, Tatum and the Celtics beat the Pacers on Nov. 1 by a whopping 51 points.
In five games played so far this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 30.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
