During All-Star Weekend, Jayson Tatum sat down with ESPN's Malika Andrews. The five-time All-Star touched on the growth of how far his relationship with running-mate Jaylen Brown has come, with the duo now being one of the most co-existing tandems in the NBA.

The evolution of the two Boston Celtics together has developed immensely, to say the least, after hearing for a number of seasons that the duo could not coexist.

Tatum detailed the growth of his and Brown's relationship.

"I think over the last few years we've taken strides of like, coexisting together, getting the best out of each other, while being the best version of ourselves and being the leaders that our team needs us to be; this is our time," Tatum told Andrews. "It's part of just getting older and maturing, right? Still relatively young guys, but understanding that this is our time and we need to take full advantage of it."

The Celtics MVP candidate also detailed what he likes the most about his longtime teammate.

"He's a guy that, what I notice about him, he knows what he wants," Tatum said of Brown. "Not saying other guys aren't sure, but he's always like a very focused guy, very driven, works his butt off. I just love the progress that he's made from his first year, right? He was on a really good team, came off the bench, wasn't playing as much, and now is a three-time All-Star, All-NBA caliber guy, and that just goes to show how much he loves the game of basketball and how hard he works at it, and how badly he wants to win."

Brown and Tatum will continue to grow as one of NBA history's greatest duos if Boston captures that elusive 18th championship this spring.
