Jrue Holiday made his presence felt in his homecoming to Los Angeles with another 20-point outing as the Boston Celtics scored over 140 points in back-to-back games.

Tuesday, they registered a 144-119 win over the Sacramento Kings. Saturday, they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 145-108

The two-time All-Star shot 8-12 from the field and 4-6 from three, while also recording six rebounds and six assists.

Wednesday at Sacramento was Holiday's first 20-point outing as a Celtic. He also nearly recorded a triple-double that night. He followed that up with another dominant performance, combining for 74 points with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

After the victory, the former UCLA Bruin talked about how playing with Boston's star tandem makes life easier for him on the court.

"I think with this type of talent, it just makes the game easier," Holiday said. "These guys are high-character guys; they have high IQs, and the way that they play the game makes it so much easier for me. Typically, having JT and JB out there, the best guards or the best players are on them, so, it leaves me wide open."

Both Saturday against the Clippers and Wednesday vs. the Kings, the Celtics were shorthanded with Kristaps Porzingis and Tatum's ankle injuries. Holiday has had the opportunity to make his mark on Boston's offense, with his comfort growing each and every game.

"I think just consistently or constantly trying to be aggressive, find my spots to kind of look for my shot and play-make," he said. "Even before them being out, the coaching staff and Joe (Mazzulla) told me that I need to be aggressive, so, really just trying to find my place."

The Celtics will next take on the Los Angeles Lakers in their highly anticipated Christmas day matchup at 5 p.m. EST on ABC.
